Man stabs brother-in-law in back, arrested

Tulsa police arrested a man accused of stabbing his brother-in-law in the back late Friday evening.

According to the arrest report, Marcus Hicks, 24, of Tulsa, was threatening to kill his wife and son, and that's when his brother-in-law stepped in.

Police say Hicks then stabbed him in the back. The injury was not life-threatening, and FOX23 was told that the victim should be OK.

Officials said Hicks was arrested at a friend's apartment complex in South Tulsa early Saturday morning.

Gonna be hard to get self defense . In the back it's hard to say he was protecting anybody. Should have called 911.
