Sand Springs police are investigating an armed robbery at a pharmacy on Thursday afternoon.

Police say a man in gray coveralls with a scarf over his face walked into the Drug Warehouse at 651 E. Charles Page Blvd. around 3:45 and gave a note to the clerk at the pharmacy counter demanding a specific narcotic medication.

The man also told the clerk he had a weapon, but did not show it to the clerk. The clerk handed over the drugs and the man left the store.

Police want anyone with information to call the Sand Springs Police Department at 918-245-8777.

I guess they could put cyanide in them, that would cut down on the repeat offender problem,a bit barbaric but probably wrong but...or put something in them that would give them explosive diarhea and the police could wait at the nearest convenience store...naw too nasty.

They're already thinking about putting a GPS in the bottle. I imagine after that they'll be asking for the pills in a ziplock baggy

they should make up some dummy bottles with some sort emetic that would make them puke real badly so they would go to the emergency room and have police waiting for them, I doubt any would be able to tell if it was the real drug during the robbery or after if the drug substitute was well made, these dopeheads are stupid as they are lazy, just make it up put it on the shelf in a special area and wait for some druggie to come in and demand it, then give it to them.
