Man charged for recent north Tulsa arsons

Emmanuel Chicon is charged with first degree arson.  

Tulsa police arrested Chicon and one other person for allegedly setting two fires in north Tulsa on Friday.

Police also arrested George Riebert on a third degree arson warrant.

The arrests came after three suspected arson fires on Friday. A fire on Friday morning caused $1,000 worth of damage at an apartment complex near 11th and Peoria.

Another suspected arson fire started around 9 p.m. at a structure near Pine and north Peoria; that fire caused $10,000 in damage. A third fire started around 10 p.m. near Apache and north Peoria.

Investigators are working to determine how the arsons are connected.
