A judge granted a motion to separate the trials of two men accused in the Good Friday shootings in Tulsa.

Jacob Carl England and Alvin Lee Watts face the death penalty on three counts of First-Degree murder for the shooting spree on April 6th, 2012.

Three people, Bobby Clark, 54, Dannaer Fields, 49, and William Terrell Allen, 3, died from a single gunshot wound to the chest. Two others, Deon Lawayne Tucker, 44 and David Wayne Hall, 46, were also shot but survived.

The judge ruled Watts and England will be tried separately, but did not make a decision on the motion to suppress the confessions.

England’s trial is scheduled for March 3rd, 2014 and Watts’ for February 3rd, 2014.
