A husband and wife were arrested Saturday after officers found a girl's face and arms covered in blood and an infant without food.

Tammy Jo Deshazer, 50, and Frank Lewis Deshazer, 49, both of Sperry, were arrested after officers found three children without food, an infant without formula and a child sitting on the front porch crying with her face and arms covered in blood around 7 p.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived to the house in the 110 block of W. Ash Street they found a girl sitting on the front porch crying. She told officers Tammy Deshazer hit her with a broomstick after she saw pornography on Deshazer's phone, police reports said.

After Sperry Police officers arrived to the scene Frank Deshazer started yelling at them from the house to turn their lights off and go away.

Reports state Frank Deshazer appeared heavily intoxicated.

Officers told Frank Deshazer to get back into the house, which he refused to do. After police tried to place him under arrest, Frank Deshazer used his left hand to grab an officer's belt. The officers were able to subdue him and place him in handcuffs.

Once the officers went inside the house, they found three children without food and an infant without formula, officers said.

Sperry officer Justin Burch ran to the store to buy formula and a bottle for the infant, reports said.

Tammy Deshazer was arrested for domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor and three counts of child neglect. Frank Deshazer was arrested for obstructing justice and resisting arrest. They were both transported to Tulsa County Jail and are being held on bond.

I really hope that those children get placed somewhere that allows them to have a much more stable and happy life. The poor baby without food and a bottle? Why can't people take care of their kids? Or if they don't want them give them up to somebody who truely does want a child.

Jks :-| they might be mental patients. What you suggest could be abuse. Not saying I condone the possible abuse that has gone on in the past. If the beatings have to start can we begin with you? It seems to be what you like best sand I would t wNt you to be neglected.

Nice warm bunk and probably a better thanksgiving dinner than they could ever pour from a bottle of KY DX. Probably gonna be the best thanksgiving dinner these children have ever had. These two welfare frauds need to find a new scam besides soaking up the welfare benefits of children.
