Police say five people were shot inside of a north Tulsa home around 7 on Saturday evening.

TPD said it happened near E. Pine St. and N. New Haven Ave.

Captain Dave Roberts says when they arrived, the back door to the home was open.

He says officers "heard someone yell for help, so they went inside the house."

That's when they found the victims.

Tulsa Police confirmed with FOX23 that four people have died. An EMSA spokesperson said the victims range in age from 30 to 55 years old.

A man and woman, both between 30-40 years old, were pronounced dead at the scene.  A woman in her 50s died upon arrival to a local hospital.

The two other victims were transported to a local hospital. According to an EMSA spokesperson a 55-year-old man was admitted to the hospital in serious condition, and a woman in her 50s is listed in critical condition.

EMSA reports that multiple children were at the scene of the accident.

"They all waited for police to arrive, and they have been cooperative as we spoke to them," Roberts said.

EMSA paramedics checked over a minor who did not require additional care.

Police say the home where the shooting happened was the scene of several arrests for drug dealing within the last year but it's not clear what the motive for the shooting was.

Sadly this has suddenly become a commentary done on race. Why in the world is that what people focus on. Truth be told a person is a person no matter what race they are. It is sad that human lives have been lost and the brutality was witnessed by children who will forever have that picture etched into their minds. Rather than focus on race, focus on what humanity should do to prevent such senseless violence.

It doesn't matter what color the victims or the criminals are. It's human lives being lost daily. Among the victims were 3 women, mother's. It sounds as if some of their children were there. It's true when you here about men shooting men their isn't as much coverage or outcry. But it dwant matter what color when mother's are gunned down, possibly in front of their children. Have some decency! And Pray for families involved. On both sides of the law!
