Tulsa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 16-year old after they say he led them on a chase.

Deputies say they were looking for the teen after they say he got into a fight with a man and woman in Turley on Tuesday night. Deputies say the teen pulled a gun on the couple and pistol whipped the man before taking off.

The man who was pistol whipped, Buddy Ridgway, spoke with FOX23’s Adam Paluka. He said he and his pregnant went to confront the teen believing he stole the woman’s car.

“He pulled out that gun and he started pointing it at all of us, and his mom ran out the door to talk some sense into him,” Ridgway told FOX23.
Ridgeway says the teen then fled the area.

The next day, deputies say the teen drove by them in a stolen truck, not the same vehicle the friends thought the teen had stolen, and they tried to pull him over on south Quincy, but he drove off. Deputies followed him and he eventually jumped out of the car and ran into nearby woods.
“It was pretty crazy. He’s a devil kid,” Ridgway said.

The Tulsa police helicopter was brought in and the teen was found and arrested near 106th and Highway 11 in Sperry.

The teen’s name has not been released, he faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, pointing a deadly weapon and eluding.

I would like to say that this 16yr boy is the criminal, but he is also a victim. He was a good kid. Went to school, played on the football team, was a member of J.B.R. (Junior Bull Riders). I know because I am his mother. For the past 2 yrs he has been having a sexual relationship with a 38-39 woman who has completely ruined him and his life.I have reported it more than once. I have told EVERYONE there is to tell (sheriffs, probation officer (and the supervisor),juvenile judges,e-mails to news, mayors action, etc.) Because shes not a teacher or a person of authority theres nothing that they will do about it. They said I didn't have enough evidence. Everyone in Turley knew about it even the sheriffs. How much more evidence did I need? They (the authorities) also informed me that when he turned 16 in the state of OK the age of consent is 16, they just couldnt get married. From the moment this relationship started HE has been nothing but a nightmare to not only his family but to the community we live in as well. I strongly feel the Juvenile Bureau is also somewhat to blame. If they would have done something or helped me to in the beginning he never would have got this far. I begged them numerous times. Told them he needed help, I needed help with him. I have done everything humanly possible. I have taken him to Parkside, put him in Thunderbird, CRC (childrens recovery center), and Shadow Mountain he has either ran or been kicked out. I have asked several times: "What is it going to take to get someone to do something"? He has already broken into several houses, several businesses, stolen several cars, bicycles etc. the list goes on. He quit school beginning of 8th and has no life experiences or skills of any kind. Theres so much more that cant be told in a comment box. Im not a bad mom and im not giving up. Im the first one to say that my son needs to be dealt with but this woman needs to be dealt with as well, as a female pedophile that she is for ruining his life
