Collinsville police arrest man for providing alcohol to minors

Collinsville police arrested a man they say provided alcohol to minors.

Mohammed Alghazali faces two counts of providing alcohol to minors. Police say they had a report from a man who had gotten a call from a concerned neighbor who reported loud music coming from the man’s elderly mother’s home. The man told police he was concerned there was underage drinking going on because of grandkids living in the home.

Police responded to the house and found several teens with Alghazali and alcohol in the home. Police say Alghazali initially told them the alcohol was his, but the teens told police he bought the alcohol and they all drank it.

Alghazali was arrested on two counts of providing alcohol to minors.
