FOX23 learned authorities returned to the home of a convicted sex offender with a search warrant in hand.

On Tuesday, we told you about law enforcement conducting compliance checks for sex offenders in Cherokee County.

Authorities seized computers, ten internal hard drives and more than 30 VHS tapes they believe could contain child pornography from 70-year-old Bill Robinett, who is a convicted sex offender.

"We have hundreds of DVDs and CDs," said District 27 Drug and Violent Task Force Investigator Elizabeth Crockett.

Crockett joined the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshalls office, Adair County Sheriff’s office and the Tahlequah Police Department on a sex offender compliance check this week.

When Crockett went to check on Robinett at his home she saw a list of child porn websites and passwords written on paper.

"During the interview the suspect actually stated he's been looking at child porn for almost a year, that the ages of the children range from eight to 14," Crockett said.

Robinett was found guilty of lewd or indecent proposals in 2002.

Investigators will go through all of the evidence they seized and if they find anything with child porn on it they will turn it over to OSBI.
