A brazen thief swipes a man’s wallet right off the counter at a local Walgreens, and surveillance video captures the whole thing on tape.
Cameras spot the woman pulling up to the store at 31st and Sheridan. After parking her dark SUV, she goes inside and buys a few things. As she turns to leave, she spies a wallet on the counter. After doing a quick 180, she swipes the wallet and walks out of the store.

Just a few minutes before, David White had gone inside to purchase a bottle of cologne. Not realizing he left his wallet on the counter, he leaves.

“When I get back home I'm panicking, and when I get back to my condo I'm looking everywhere for it,” says White.

During his search, he gets the call we all hope to never get.

"It was Chase bank and they said hey, we've got some fraud on your card,” says White.

It wasn’t just the money that was stolen, but some valuable photographs that can’t be replaced.

"I had pictures of my boy when he was little, and I think it's the only picture I have of him,” he says.

David also had his social security card, two credit cards and a Lowe’s card inside. All in all, the thief charged nearly 500 dollars on his credit card and also took 50 dollars in cash.

He says it’s not the money that he misses, but his social security card and the only picture of his young son.

He is hoping someone will recognize the woman from the surveillance tapes and call police.

What in the heck is this guy saying? His lisp is out of control! Something seems off with this, how does his "new" wallet already have his driver's license and all his other junk? Doesn't that seem like that would be in his old wallet? I bet he was in on it, he looks shady.

I was at a leather shop downtown one day and saw a wallet on a chain. Get you one like that so your lack of memory for your memories will follow you out the door
