Several of Green Country’s most wanted are off the street and behind bars.
On Thursday, investigators with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with state and local agencies to serve nearly 150 warrants.
The warrants range from meth, fraud and failing to pay child support.
“Trying to get the bad of the bad the streets,” said Eastern Oklahoma US Marshals Deputy James Brown.
Troopers started with Alana Taylor.
She is wanted for failing to appear on attempting to elude, child endangerment, possession of stolen vehicle and stealing gasoline.
The address listed for Taylor had new tenants, who hadn’t heard of Taylor, and a search of the home led to no sign of Taylor.
Law enforcement continues to find the wanted to answer for their crimes.
"It's just a mixture of things, drugs, guns, failure to register," said Brown.
Troopers found convicted felon Susan Horner, 28, in a trailer hiding in a closet.
Court records show she will have to post a $50,000 to get out of jail.
Another man wanted for fraud told troopers he didn’t know he had a warrant.
"Bogus check,” said the trooper.
Gerald Allen isn’t happy about posting a $5,000 bond and the FOX23 News cameras being there for the arrest.
"Would you stop that ma'am? I’m sick and that's just not right,” said Allen.
As troopers pull up to adress listed for 18-year-old Cody Kramer, he tried to walk back into the house.
"Did you steal some medication?” said the trooper.
Kramer denied the crime, but had a charge for larceny of prescription drugs.
One of Brown’s most wanted Arthur Adney Jr., 48, is still a fugitive.
Records show Adney has several misdemeanor and traffic warrants but his most recent charge is a felony warrant for a meth fire this year.
Law enforcement knocked on the parents of Adney's door but they said he left in a trailer with his girlfriend and hasn’t been heard from since.
"He's out running around somewhere. We would like to get him," said Brown.
US Marshals would also like to arrest registered sex offender Richard Kessinger, 57.
Oklahoma Department of Corrections Sex Offender registry showed Kessinger had a 1999 conviction in Clearwater, Florida for sexual battery.
Brown said he’s previously arrested Kessinger for failure to register and drugs. On Thursday, Kessinger wasn’t at the listed address in Tahlequah.
"I would put him in one of my top ten. He is at least number four to me," said Brown.
"Once he gets caught he won't be going anywhere."
The wanted who are still fugitives may have been able to hide during the sweep but US Marshals are not giving up on putting them behind bars.
"We'll eventually find them but they can't hide forever," said Brown.
The ongoing warrant sweep is being led by the District 27 District Attorney Brian Kuester and his office.
Last week, agents served more than 100 warrants in Wagoner County and arrested 20 people.
