A former Stroud kindergarten teacher and high school cheerleading coach is charged with lewd or indecent proposals or acts to a child under 16.

The Stroud Police Department was contacted on April 12, 2012, about an inappropriate relationship between Mandy Layne Guerrero, teaching for Stroud at that time, and a 15-year-old girl. The department requested Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Agents investigate the allegation.

After the OSBI investigation the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office determined a charge of Lewd or Indecent Proposals or Acts to a Child Under 16 was appropriate.

The affidavit report reveals the relationship was uncovered after the 15-year old's mother found love letters Guerrero allegedly wrote to the 15-year old.

According to the affidavit the letters discussed 'missing each other' and jealousy Guerrero felt about the 15-year old being around other people, excerpts include: "Every time I see you with someone I want it to be me.... It's hard for me to think I will not get you back... since I don't have you to myself I have to deal with being jealous.  I hate that I can't stop and just let you be with your friends without me freaking out."

The notes also included statements to keep the relationship a secret: "My lips are sealed, I won't say a word to your mom."  And details about the relationship, "I absolutely love how we hung so much and all the ways we do.  I love hugging your neck and touching your face"."

The victim told investigators she felt like she and Guerrero had a 'boyfriend' style relationship and said they communicated through letters and cell phones.  The affidavit also alleges Guerrero and the girl hugged and kissed on different occasions and would meet in Guerrero's car at times.

Mandi Layne Guerrero turned herself in at the Lincoln County Jail on Tuesday afternoon on a warrant. Her bond was set at $5,000.

Yep and a huge portion of the pervs are teachers and school officials. Sick, this is what happens when the city is more interested in building structures than keeping the city fit for people to live in.
