 Sharon Phillips Sharon Phillips was born and raised right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and considers it an honor to be reporting on stories here in Green Country.
She earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where she was a features writer for the Daily O'Collegian. She also served as the historian for her social sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.
Upon graduating, she went on to work as a field producer for the local CBS affiliate during the Oklahoma City bombing trial. She later produced a local community show for ABC, before settling into reporting full time. She joined the FOX23 News team in January of 2008. Her passion includes breaking news and telling stories that make a difference in people's lives.
Sharon is a proud board member for Emergency Infant Services, as well as a volunteer diver for the Oklahoma Aquarium.She is also a member of Tulsa's Young Professionals.
In her spare time, you can find her running, shopping with friends, babysitting her adorable nephews or catching up on the latest news stories on HLN or FOX News.
