BIO

Mia Fleming is a Weekend Anchor for FOX23 News.

Mia began her television career at KFOR in Oklahoma City while attending Langston University. She joined FOX23 news as an Associate Producer and Weekend Assignment Editor in 2001.

The opportunity to cover stories in the city were she grew up in is a dream come true for Mia. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the National Association of Black Journalists.

In her spare time she enjoys sharing her program ìA Clear and Certain Future through L.E.A.D.E.R.S.H.I.Pî, a program she developed to assist in youth development. She also enjoys volunteering her time to community programs.

Mia also enjoys working with girls in pageantry, and writing for local publications.
