Kristin Tallent is an award winning journalist that can be seen anchoring FOX23 News at Noon and reporting on FOX23 Daybreak. Before coming to Tulsa, Kristin spent five years at Fox in Memphis, reporting and anchoring news and sports.
Kristin earned an Emmy for her story on the reunion of a Memphis-boy with his classmates after he nearly drowned in a frozen pond. She was also nominated for an Emmy for her reporting on the West Memphis police shootings where two officers were killed during a routine traffic stop.
She's covered the Super Bowl, the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the Daytona 500, and just about any sporting event imaginable. She's made stops at tv stations in Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and now Oklahoma.
Kristin is originally from Patton, Missouri. She attended Mississippi State University on a track and field scholarship, where she was a four-year letterman. She volunteers weekly at Bit by Bit in Oologah and can also be found taking part in "Jog the Dogs" at the Tulsa SPCA. Kristin is an advocate for pet adoption and is the proud owner of her own rescue pup, Luke, a german shepherd. She helped organize "Ride for Rescues" in Mississippi, a trail ride fundraiser for horse rescue. She's also volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Humane Society throughout her career.
