 Jeff McAdam is a sports reporter and photographer for FOX23 Sports.
Jeff doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to Green Country’s sports coverage. He comes from a diverse reporting background. Before joining the FOX23 team in August of 2011, he anchored and reported in College Station/Waco, Texas, where he covered Texas A&M, Baylor, and the University of Texas. Jeff hosted ‘Friday Night Lights’ in Texas, and finds Oklahoma high school football to be equally impressive.
Unlike many in broadcasting, Jeff has also been fortunate enough to cover sports as part of the team and from within the team locker room. Before broadcasting, Jeff worked in the public relations departments for the Baltimore Ravens (NFL), the Colorado Rapids (MLS), and the Colorado Avalanche (NHL). He even stole a few moves from the players on the ice rink… not that he’s bragging.
Denver is home for Jeff, but Hawaii and warm weather is a close second. His love for the islands came while attending the University of Hawaii, where he spent the first two years of his undergraduate studies. He finished his undergraduate studies back in Colorado, where he received his degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Colorado.
Now at FOX23, Jeff covers OU, OSU, Oral Roberts and Tulsa sports. So far, Jeff loves everything that Tulsa has to offer! He feels like Lauren Conrad, as he is enjoying his life in ‘the hills’ of Green Country.
