BIO

Emily Sinovic joined Fox23 in March 2006. She was hired as a general assignment and crime reporter, but she quickly dove into investigative work and now heads up the Solving Problems investigative team.

Emily’s investigation into Tulsa Public Schools severe weather safety plans earned her an Emmy nomination as well as 1st Place from the Society of Professional Journalists for “Best Investigative Reporting”. She’s also received “Best Enterprise Reporting” from the Associated Press Oklahoma Chapter for her 30 minute special, “Portrait of Courage”. Most recently, Emily’s consumer reporting helped spark a national recall for thousands of gas grills that caught fire.

Emily began her career in Fargo, ND and worked in Evansville, IN before coming to Tulsa.

She is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, IL, after being born and raised in Leawood, KS.
