Really have to be on guard. Dangers are lurking everywhere, not just online. Parents need to be diligent with their children.

Of course RKelly denies it, and they probably paid the girl off to say it wasn't her too, they have had 6 years to work on this, anyone else would have gone to trial immediately. What ever happened to the right to a speedy trial by a jury of your peers? He is a pedophile, what is the problem, put his butt in jail, Oh, of course, he is a rich black man, he will no doubt get out of it with less than a slap on the wrist, so he can have sex with more children.

WHOO HOO....!!!! MONEY...MONEY....MONEY...!! The Bush Family would like to thank all of you for your continued generosity at the gas pumps, and would like to encourage the continuation of your support, go out and drive every chance you get, even if it is just across the street, take off fast, drive fast, brake fast, don't let anyone stay ahead of you, make it a priority to pass any vehicle you can, and remember to drive with your windows down, but most importantly, keep feeding the gas pumps....

Guynurse- we're on the same page about the phoney oil crises. However, you know about some milking the system-how many, a family ,two families, three or even ten families out of 300 hundred million people in this country and 150/200 hundred million families so actually what your aware is insignificate in the world of reserach. Doesn't mean it isn't wrong it's just your basing on few you know and applying it to all. Let me ask how do they continue to milk the system when they're suppose to have a time limit and must be looking for work. I'm interested in knowing how they do it ?.

guynurse - 11:56 AM
Amen Brother Redmen.... it's all about the rich getting richer on the backs of the poor and the poor working stiff. Many years ago, I was a manager for a Major Oil Company Service Station. Hey, don't laugh, there was really Service Stations where one could take their vehicle for tires, oil changes, hose replacements, brake work, etc., etc. Now you are forced to go to WAL-MART or SAMS. Oh yea, you can go to Sears. To make a long story short, it is greed. In late 60' to mid 70's, we had an Oil Crisis...... .BALONEY!!! There was never a day we were without fuel in our storage tanks. However, the Oil Company didn't mind telling you you could only pump 10 gallon to any one individual. I actually seen times when someone would move to another pump and get another 10 gallons, or finish filling up. This is all BS folks, pure simple BS. Come on Folks, Wake up before it's too late......if it isn't already.

yes, I know people who "milk the system" so to speak. My wife and I were complaining about the high prices of food etc., etc. Our daughter-in-law flat out stated well "Mom", I can get you on food stamps. I know how to do it. My wife told her that wasn't happening. We believe in making our own way. If we need it and can't afford it, we will cut something out in order to get what it is we need. $4 a gallon milk?? $5 a gallon Orange Juice?? $3 loaf of bread?? Where is it going to end? Maybe January 2009 will bring us a welcome change.

I would like to just add a comment about the report in general. The reporter said/wrote to call the local food bank and gave the number. However, the "food bank" is a distribution center to local food pantries and does not actually help individuals. A great resource for food assistance or any other social need is calling 2-1-1. Individuals can call and get a list of food pantries or services close to where they live. 2-1-1 is a 24 hour helpline for health and social services. The local 2-1-1 covers most of NE Oklahoma.

I have actually witnessed theft at Wal-Mart and reported it to a manager who in turn told me that there is nothing they can do unless they witnessed the theft personally due to lawsuits, etc. You try and do right and even point out the criminal and they do nothing about it.

Redmen - 9:29 AM
Sheri-are you basing your assumption on emotion or may I ask how many DO YOU ACTUALLY KNOW work the system or do you have some RESEARCH thats bears out what you believe about those so called people working the system. How would you fix what you think is wrong ?. I think over the yrs the system has been really tightened up on those so-called working the system and in fact can't stay on assistance but for a limited time if you didn't know that. Over the yrs a faulty belief gets repeated so often it becomes proof without any proof.WE tend to want to believe it. It's called the poor me syndrome. Always remember there's no system thats fool proof or without problems. We just have to learn tp accept that, but work on it.The only perfect thing ever on this earth was Jesus and thats just the nature of being human and human systems and I'm not saying there aren't a few that take advantage, but I don't think it's near what everbody emotionally believe's rather than what should be rationally believed.

Sheri6537 - 9:07 AM
Maybe what Kimberly was referring to are those who take advantage of our system. I agree with her to a point there are some folks that work the sytemt to live on food stamps becasue they are too darned lazy to try to get a better job and basically don't want to or don't care. If someone is in a temporary situation and needs some assitance that's one thing but I do think our system needs looking at we have so many more that are making a life long habit of it why well because they can get away with it.
